Summary of Functions:

Receive request/inquires from customers, and provides information and price quotations to customers. Processes sales orders and returns, and coordinates with other departments through to completion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Receives request via order desk email, web accounts, telephone and fax or for price verifications, purchase orders, and changes or cancellations directly from customers.
Responds immediately to customer inquiries/information needs and provides positive, courteous service to customers; answers questions regarding product line, prices, deliver times, warranty periods, customer service and credit/financing arrangements.
Email order confirmations of all order desk orders received and shipped on a timely basis
Process confirmations and shipment confirmations on web based accounts on a timely basis.
Sends product literature, price catalogs, references and other data to customer as required.
Prepares order configurations and price quotations and routes to customer; writes emails or faxes to provide information to customer inquires as needed.

Qualifications:

Experience with MAS200 preferred
A high school diploma is a must, while a college degree is preferred.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well with people are essential.
Familiarity with MS Office applications, especially MS Word and MS Excel.
Familiarity with use of the internet and general computer skills.
